Accessibility in Sardinia, Italy
The primary goal of this research project is to explore and develop governance tools that facilitate urban and regional accessibility in Sardinia. The research will focus on analyzing Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) services, utilizing spatial analysis techniques and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), along with a theoretical exploration of the smart city concept. The project aims to improve connections between coastal and inland areas, enhancing the value of inland regions and promoting economic, environmental, and social sustainability in Sardinia. The research will also involve managing, aggregating, visualizing, and processing geospatial data using the Snap4City platform, and contributing to project activities of significant interest.
