About
Researcher in spatial planning and territorial intelligence, with over seven years of interdisciplinary experience across urban systems, spatial planning, landscape strategy and applied research in Europe, South Asia and Africa. My work examines how spatial structure, mobility, environmental systems and socio-economic conditions shape urban and territorial dynamics.
I combine urban morphology, spatial analysis, GIS and spatial data science with planning knowledge to investigate territorial change and develop evidence-based approaches to sustainable, resilient and equitable development. My research spans spatial configuration and accessibility, environmental and climate-responsive planning, and the relationship between spatial evidence and territorial governance.
Alongside research, I have worked with academic institutions, public authorities and professional teams on urban and territorial planning, regeneration, accessibility and environmental resilience across diverse contexts. This applied experience informs my approach to research and teaching, connecting empirical analysis and spatial modelling with planning strategies and implementable interventions.
My work is grounded in the integration of geographical analysis, spatial planning and design, with an emphasis on translating complex territorial systems into interpretable evidence for planning and decision-making.

The PMRF, a highly competitive selection process based on professional skills and research proposals, selects only 500 students from 60 top public institutes in India and is considered the most prestigious research fellow award in the country.
